The swimming and boating lakes at Dutchess County's Wilcox Park have reopened after being closed due to a blue-green algae bloom.
The County Health Department treated and tested the lakes, deeming them safe for public use. The lakes are open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday through Monday.
The park's new spray ground is also open for the season, operating from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
