The wife of a Rockland man who was indicted for allegedly trying to have her killed - following a previous attempted murder-for-hire conviction- has filed a civil suit.
Former foot doctor Ira Bernstein was released from prison about two years ago for trying to hire someone to kill his wife, Susan, in 2016.
In June, the 49-year-old Montebello man was indicted again for an alleged second murder-for-hire hit on her between July and September 2022.
