A White Plains woman has pleaded guilty to attempted murder for trying to drown her toddler.
Police say La'Quanaya Ward held her 2-year-old under water in her bathtub at the Coachman Family Center where she was a resident back in 2019.
It was another resident who stopped her, allowing the child to come up for air.
Ward faces up to 25 years in prison when she is sentenced this coming January.
