A White Plains woman is spreading the Christmas spirit by giving back to those in need.
Seslie Robinson joined forces with local community groups including the Thomas H. Slater Center and Keya's Kitchen to hand out blankets, food and toiletries to the homeless near Getty Square in Yonkers.
Robinson started the project last year after she saw homeless people living in cardboard boxes under bridges in New York City.
She says she hopes to expand her giveaway project to other states in the future. The project also hands out supplies to the homeless in White Plains and New York City.
