White Plains Hospital debuted 15 free sunscreen dispensers around town today to protect people from skin cancer.
News 12 is told the contactless dispensers will be loaded with SPF 30 and available at city pools and parks.
"Prevention can often be the best medicine and that's why we are so pleased to bring these sunscreen dispensers to parks and pools across the city of White Plains,” said White Plains Hospital vice president Dawn French.
The dispensers are part of a three-year program and the first of its kind in the area.
