New research from Insurance.com shows drivers of the Subaru WRX get the most tickets in the country.

The Pontiac GTO, Scion FR-S, Toyota Supra, and Subaru Tribeca round out the top five most-ticketed cars.

The editors at Insurance.com say that expensive high-octane speedsters are mostly owned by older drivers who take less risks. It is inexpensive four-cylinder vehicles, favored by younger drivers, that get more tickets.

The least-ticketed cars include the Chevrolet Orlando, Ford Eco Sport, Mercedes DCX Sprinter, Ford Club Wagon, and Dodge Viper.
