Two Westchester students earned major recognition in the 2026 Regeneron Science Talent Search after being awarded $25,000 each.
The winners were announced Tuesday night in Washington, D.C.Jashvai Desai of Yorktown High School and Khushi Karthikeyan of Ardsley High School were among the 30 finalists in the Tarrytown‑based competition.
The program is considered one of the nation’s most prestigious science contests for high school seniors.
A student from State College, PA won the top prize of $250,000.
