Westchester County road crews are getting ready as temperatures are expected to turn colder tonight, bringing the possibility of snow accumulation on local roadways.
White Plains' Department of Public Works crews, which are responsible for more than 150 miles of roadway, say they have tons of salt, sand and trucks at the ready to start making the rounds.
Officials are warning drivers to leave extra time for Thursday's commute and to be careful, especially on bridges which can freeze faster than surface roads.
