The weather in Westchester and Hudson Valley was hazy, hot and humid on Saturday but residents were working hard to keep their cool.
The boardwalk at Rye Playland was filled with people beating the heat. The ocean breeze cooled off some, while others took advantage of the water rides at the park. Poolside or on the beach is where residents say they will spend the next week as the temperature climbs.
The National Weather Service is predicting a heat wave with temperatures pushing 100 degrees by Monday.
