Preparations are underway ahead of President Joe Biden's visit to Westchester.
Biden is expected to attend a high-priced fundraiser in Irvington on Thursday.
The hosts of the event include actor Michael Douglas, his wife, actress Catherine Zeta-Jones and fashion designer Eileen Fisher.
Ahead of his visit, Irvington police are warning residents about significant traffic alerts that are expected to occur.
They put a post on Facebook, specifically asking people to avoid travelling in the area after 2 p.m.
News 12 asked Jared Zerman, a resident and driver, how he plans to deal with the anticipated road closures.
"I'm gonna pretty much stay home and avoid the center of town," Zerman said. "But, sure, I think it's cool that he's coming to a small town like this."
Due to security and safety concerns, Irvington police say they are not allowed to provide information about specific road closures or the timing of them.
However, several schools and businesses in the area are adjusting their operating hours because of Biden's visit.
