A new comprehensive package of laws has been approved by the Westchester County legislators, addressing various crucial areas including infrastructure, environmental protection, economic development, and public safety and housing.

Among the legislative items passed is the Glen Island Bridge Rehabilitation and Temporary Easement Act, aimed at creating new regional jobs.

Additionally, the legislation includes plans to replace 95-line buses with new hybrid and all-electric models, contributing to efforts toward sustainability and environmental conservation.
