Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino's 2013 tax returns show he earned $193,000 last year and paid out nearly $54,000 in taxes.
The two-term Republican also gave $3,300 to various Catholic and charity groups.
According to his campaign, part of Astorino's income came from two outside media consulting jobs, which have earned him a total of $101,000 over four years. Despite his outside employment, a spokesperson at his campaign headquarters insisted that he 100 percent fulfilled the duties of his full-time job as county executive.
Astorino spokesman Bill O'Reilly says Astorino only dedicates a few hours a week at night to his outside jobs. Democrats say they want to know what is in his four other years of returns.
As for Gov. Andrew Cuomo's 2013 tax returns, the Westchester Democrat earned $358,000 last year, including $188,000 for his not-yet-released book deal.
