Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino threw his support behind state Senate candidate Joe Dillon today.

Astorino endorsed his fellow Republican with a crowd of supporters surrounding them in Eastchester. Dillon faces incumbent Democrat George Latimer.

The Republican candidate for governor says Dillon's experience in business and his understanding of everyday life for families makes him a great candidate. "We need new blood and I think we need new thinking up there. I think it's time for new people to go to Albany and I think we need term limits," says Astorino.

A Latimer spokesman says he expected Astorino to endorsement Dillon.
