Events to close out Black History Month in style
52ds agoA couple of local communities celebrated Black History Month with virtual events Thursday evening.
The City of Yonkers held a virtual celebration on Facebook Live. It was held in collaboration with Yonkers Public Schools and the Yonkers Public Library.
At 6 p.m., Westchester County Government officials presented its Black History Month and 'Trailblazers' Awards Ceremony.
The virtual Facebook Live event honored the county's outstanding African American citizens.
