More than 100 volunteers are helping Westchester Christmas Dinner to keep up their holiday tradition by delivering hot meals, clothes, and gifts to more than 200 families and seniors in northern Westchester.
"It's our responsibility to help other people and to spread that happiness among the community," Lauren Torre, Vice President of the Board of the Westchester Christmas Dinner says ,"We didn't want to neglect to do this just because there's a pandemic."
One volunteers, Margaux Procell from Pleasantville says, "When we're blessed, we want to bless others with what we have, and what we can give."
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the nonprofit group had to come up with alternate plans to deliver cheer since they cannot host a large gathering.
