An ambulette service in Westchester is shutting down due to the company not having enough money to continue operating.

United Transportation Providers of Westchester County, Inc was a lifeline for people with serious medical conditions and disabilities.

The shutdown will impact about 1,000 medical trips a day, including transportation for seniors and those receiving dialysis and chemotherapy.
