A local arts program is asking for the public's help in raising money for youth arts.
ArtsWestchester just launched its "Arts W Challenge." The program says it plans to match the public's donations of up to $5,000.
The public has the opportunity to choose between 100 different programs. The money raised will help benefit organizations like Tarrytown Music Hall and the Hudson Stage Company.
"We were able to add additional classes for our kids," says Donise Lyons, from the Youth Theatre Interactions. "We were able to provide additional scholarships and we were able to bring back our Summer Saturday Drop In program."
The public has until Dec. 15 to donate.
