As more businesses across the Hudson Valley are given the greenlight to reopen, News 12 is showcasing some of the unique ways owners are reinventing themselves on our show “We’re Open.”
Today, News 12's Jonathan Gordon is in Cold Spring with what retailers are doing to survive the pandemic.
One merchant is Leonora Burton, who owns the Country Goose, one of the oldest stores on Main Street.
Burton says she has been able to stay open the entire time by packaging and mailing unique gift baskets. “With the pandemic, people wanted to send gift baskets to their friends and relatives around the country, and then there was Mother's Day, and Father’s Day, so we been doing a lot of gift baskets.”
"We're Open" will feature more from the Country Goose and other businesses tonight at 7 p.m.
