All right, let's get another check of your forecast. Now with meteorologist Matt Hammer, because now at the end of the week is really what we need to watch out for. Yeah. And it'll just be easier to smile indoors and some air conditioning than it will be heading outside. But today is a little bit of a different story. Head outside and it looks nice with the mix of sun and clouds and yes, it's a hot summer feel, but it's not extremely hot and humid. Like tomorrow will be, you notice the humidity a little bit we're getting there, but this is not to the dangerous territory just yet that comes in for tomorrow. It'll feel like around 95 to 100 on Tuesday afternoon. That doesn't change for Wednesday. And in fact, Thursday and Friday, it can be even worse at times feeling like around 100 degrees. Even into the start of the upcoming weekend. It can feel like the lower to middle nineties for Saturday and possibly Sunday as well. So in addition to taking breaks and staying hydrated, you could do things like take cool showers from time to time where lightweight and light colored clothing to be most comfortable and check on neighbors. Of course, the elderly and your pets and hot cars not safe. The inside of your car can heat up to around 100 and 35 degrees in less than an hour. So this is some dangerous heat. If you're not careful, it's fine if you take the proper precautions and don't over exert yourself. Of course. And it's a dry day today, Mid eighties, noticeably humid UV index today for the first time. Really? This season is double digits. That means if you're not protecting your skin, it's less than 10 minutes that you start to get a nasty sunburn. So keep that in mind too. One thing that's actually a little bit better today, believe it or not is actually the pollen counts with the grass pollen being moderate. All other counts are either low or absent today. So looking ahead, heat wave begins tomorrow, you have to stay heat smart through the start of the weekend. Best chance for a thunderstorm could be a quick one Friday or Saturday, but it's Sunday night into early on Monday that rain showers come through and that finally will break the extreme heat and humidity into the middle of next week.
