After all the record-breaking warmth, some wintry weather is on tap for Westchester and the Hudson Valley.
A winter weather advisory is in effect for Westchester, Rockland, Orange and Putnam counties through 6 a.m. Tuesday.
The freezing rain and sleet will continue through Tuesday morning, which may make for slippery roads. Drivers are urged to give themselves extra travel time.
The wintry mix is expected to change to all rain by mid-morning.
Wednesday and Thursday are expected to bring a slight warm-up, with highs in the upper-40s.
