Precipitation is expected to turn to all rain overnight following some wintry weather that settled over the Hudson Valley Saturday afternoon.
News 12 meteorologists say about 2 inches of snow accumulated in many areas.
The National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory for Orange and Putnam counties until 10 p.m., and eastern Dutchess, western Dutchess and eastern Ulster counties until 11 p.m. Saturday.
Temperatures will rise rapidly overnight, and Sunday will see rain and wind with average temperatures around 64 degrees.
However, the warm spike won't last long: by Monday, temperatures will plunge back into the 30s, and by late next week, temperatures will drop even further into the low-20s.
