A Bronx family is asking the community for help in the search of their missing loved one.
What felt like an ordinary Saturday morning took a heartbreaking turn for the family of 60-year-old Kapil Harrinarain after they say he went missing in the early hours of the morning. Those moments were captured on a surveillance video and obtained by News 12.
The family says Harrinarain was last seen around the Grand Concourse area on Sunday.
"I just feel sorry for him to just – with his mental disorder, how lost he could feel, how sad it would be for him,” said his nephew Raj Sieunarine.
Harrinarain was last seen wearing a blue shirt and blue jeans. His family describes him as 5 feet 8 inches tall with a heavy build. They are asking anyone who recognizes him to come forward.
