Water service is now restored for residents in a Peekskill neighborhood after a century-old water main burst.
Fifty homes lost water after a cast-iron main burst around 2:30 a.m. yesterday on Ferris Street. The break sent water down the street, and flooded the garage and basement of at least one home.
A spokesperson for Peekskill's Water and Sewer Department tells News 12 the repairs were completed last night.
