A Warwick chocolatier is raffling life-sized chocolate bunnies for Easter to give back to his local fire department.
Victor Gelman owns the Warwick Chocolate Company on Railroad Avenue.
He’s giving away one milk chocolate bunny each day up until Easter, starting Sunday.
The 7-pound bunnies normally sell for $125 each. Raffle tickets are $3.
The money collected will go to the Warwick Fire Department.
“It’s tremendously fulfilling. Volunteer firefighters risk their life for the community every day and the least we can do is to say thank you once a year. That’s the least we can do for them," said Gelman.
This is the second year the shop has held the raffle for Warwick firefighters. Last year, they raised more than $2,000.
