Warm weather lingers in New Jersey; cooler air arrives midweek

A noticeable change arrives midweek as cooler air settles in. Expect highs to dip into the mid- to upper-60s, accompanied by increasing chances for showers. Until then, enjoy a continued stretch of dry weather.

As we kick off the week, keep an eye on the night sky. Monday night will be the harvest moon, it will be the brightest and largest full moon of the year, peaking at 11:47 p.m. As a supermoon, it will appear bigger and more luminous, with a golden-orange glow rising in the east. It marks the full moon closest to the autumn equinox and will be visible for several nights, with Saturn nearby adding to the celestial display.
