Business owners say the current economic crisis in the U.S. and around the world is hurting Main Street as much as Wall Street.
?Companies are cutting back on travel,? said Choice Torre. ?I find that is cutting back on my taxi service.?
Residents too are fearful about the economic outlook.
?Of course it?s changing our way of life,? said resident Bruno Delia. ?We are buying less, doing less [and] going out less.?
One business owner who did not want to be named said that his long-time customers are using the words worried, concerned, and frightened when talking about their futures.
