8h agoA smoke shop in Walden has been shut down by the state for allegedly selling illicit cannabis.
Authorities were seen at the Walden Convenience and Smoke Shop on West Main Street Wednesday afternoon and News 12 viewers sent us photos of the activity.
A sign on the door says the store has been ordered to close and stop selling unapproved and unauthorized cannabis products.
News 12 reached out to Walden police, as well as county and state officials for more information but hasn’t heard back.
As of Thursday, the store’s phone number is disconnected.
