A wake service was held Wednesday afternoon for the Yonkers Major League Baseball prospect who was killed in a drive-by shooting.
Hundreds of people gathered to remember Michael Nolan Wednesday afternoon at the Hodder-Farenga Funeral Home.
The 23-year-old was shot last month outside a Burger King parking lot near the Cross County Parkway.
Nolan spent three weeks fighting for his life at Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx. He died last week.
His funeral is scheduled to take place Thursday at St. Paul the Apostle Church in Yonkers.
No arrests have been made in the shooting, and the investigation is ongoing. Police are offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.
