The third annual Wreaths Across America ceremony kicked off Saturday at Orange County's Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
Around 3,000 wreaths escorted from Maine were laid out on gravestones at the cemetery.
The event is part of the National Wreaths Across America movement, which aims to cover all veterans' graves with a holiday wreath.
Hundreds of volunteers made up of community members and also children, parents and grandchildren of veterans laid out the wreaths.
Veterans say this is a great way to remember and pay respects to the country's fallen heroes.
