Volunteers in New Rochelle did their part to give back to the community this Thanksgiving.
Cooks at the Bethesda Baptist Church started preparing a Thanksgiving meal Monday.
The free meal is open to the entire community. The meal includes mac and cheese, stuffing, pies, ham and turkey.
This is the third year the church is providing the meal. Last year, they fed more than 100 people.
Organizers say the goal is not only to feed the hungry and take care of the needy, but also to bring the community together.
C-Town, Costco, and ShopRite of New Rochelle donated much of the food.
