A Navy veteran from Eastchester is getting some help to update his house.
Vincent Stanley needed repairs and the Home Depot Foundation and Family Services of Westchester wanted to help.
Volunteers organized Wednesday to assist with landscaping by replacing large bushes with colorful flowers. "It's very helpful, they're doing all this for veterans because for a long time, veterans were sort of...forgotten...to be honest with you, and this was a great thing and I can't thank these people enough," says Stanley.
Today, the volunteers will be back on the job working to paint Stanley's kitchen, and clean his clogged chimney.
