South Broadway BID is an organization dedicated to enhancing and promoting Yonkers Main Street.
On April 21, a video was recorded of the organization’s executive director, Jessica Guisto-Gordon, arguing with bystanders while attempting to address safety concerns with a food vendor.
In response to the video, We United has held protests and sent a letter to the BID Board of Directors demanding her removal.
"We feel she is unfit to serve the community. She doesn't understand it. She has no cultural sensitivity to us, and she's got to go,” said We United Member Edwin Mejia.
