Let's bring Julian back. I love that. You said the rain is going away. What's it gonna look like the rest of the week? Well, exactly. We're looking at much more drier conditions as we start off the work week and taking a look at just where the rain is. As of right now, as I mentioned, it's gonna be pretty much out of here for the city. Might have a couple of drizzles, but we're not looking at much shower activity as we get into the rest of our Sunday nights and heading into our Monday morning, cloudy, foggy. But overall, again, staying on the dry side as we get into the rest of tonight and the good news is, it wasn't a wash out across the city, less than a half of an inch of rain has fallen throughout the Bronx and throughout much of New York City, which is good news. So it wasn't a whole lot of a wash out for us throughout much of our Sunday. But again, we are gonna be monitoring the visibility to be a bit of an issue as we get into the rest of tonight. So, if you have to be traveling later into our Sunday night into our early Monday morning. We are looking for some fog to take place which would be bringing our visibility to around four miles or on a lower end as we get into the overnight. But once we start our Monday, we are looking for that to improve for us as guys will begin to clear as well by sunrise. So overnight, we are looking for some areas of fog, it's gonna be dry especially after 10 p.m. And then we're looking for the clouds to start to clear up as well. Heading in from midnight into our Monday morning, temperatures are gonna be steady into the fifties and then into the upper forties starting off for our Monday, but we're climbing back into the low fifties as we start things out for us. So next week, here's a look at our headlines. It's gonna be breezy but mild on Monday with forties returning by the time we get to Tuesday and fifties will rebound as we get into next weekend. Again, temperatures will be about the middle forties briefly overnight fifties for Monday, but cooling down for Tuesday and Wednesday of next week. So expect a little bit of chill in our air, but we're gonna see those clouds clearing up for us to start off for our Monday. But around lunch time, the cloud cover will build back for us and stick around until we get into the later parts of our Monday night, quick look at our 10 day forecast. Temperatures will be in the forties for the next couple of days being on the chillier side for Hanukkah. But then we're rebounding just in time for the weekend.

Moving out for tonight. It's a little bit better than it was earlier. Not quite as steady. One thing I want to show you though, there's a couple of lightning strikes here near ground, so a little of instability is around our area wouldn't be surprised if we do see a couple more downpours, but a lot of that is now moving east of us. So for tonight, count on fog, count on mist, drizzle some rain. It's very damp tonight in Stanford. But overnight past midnight, this is where we start to see some changes. The sky will clear more as some drier air comes in because winds will wrap around to the west and that's what will dry us out. A little breezy for the morning temperature starting out in the forties. For most of us, only thirties will be northern Litchfield County and then going throughout Monday, temperatures are mild again, near 50 degrees or better, more sun early, more clouds in the afternoon, but the clouds won't bring any rain or snow. So that's good news there. In fact, it's going to be very dry this week. There are a couple of changes to Tuesday and Wednesday's forecast temperatures are going to be a lot colder until next weekend. And that's a look at your local weather.

Day, we see the lights blinking there on the bridge. Is this gonna stick around? Yeah, unfortunately, we are looking for the foggy and cloudiness to stick around at least until we get to the early parts of tonight. But the good news is the rain in itself, folks is going to start to dissipate as we get closer towards the dinner time hours. So this is what we got going on for us on our surface man picking up where we left off again, the low pressure system which has just been funneling plenty of shower activity throughout the course of the day. Luckily, this our activity in itself though has been mainly light. And now as we get into the rest of this evening, we are looking for that rain to start to pretty much clear up. But towards Yonkers in areas like Westchester and Rockland County, some spots could see some isolated showers and even parts of the northern areas of Ulster and Duchess County. Again, you might see a couple of straight showers, but you're not necessarily gonna need that umbrella or Reindeer getting into the rest of this evening if you're going to be out Now, we've seen close to about three quarters of an inch of rainfall for parts of Westchester County. But many of us saw less than about a half of an inch from this latest event. Now, once the rain is done though, once we get to tonight, we are expecting fog to take over once again, which is gonna be lowering visibility heading into our Monday. So just be mindful that we are looking for areas of fog to start off for Monday. But until then we are looking at cloudy for the rest of this evening and steady temperatures into the forties over towards the uh New Rochelle area. So looking at our future cast, what we got again going into tonight's might see a couple of stray showers, northern parts of parts of Ulster County might even get a bit of some heavier rainfall. But again, once we get closer to around 10 o'clock, things are looking to dry out for us heading into Monday, we are looking for more sunshine. Some clouds will build once we get into our Monday afternoon as temperatures will be near 50 degrees as we roll into around three o'clock. Otherwise not expecting a whole lot more in terms of rain, but be prepared for breezy and mild for Monday. But the forties will return once again a bit on a chillier end from Tuesday into much of next week, near 40 in the upper thirties. By the time we get to Hanukkah and then we will warm back up next weekend. All right, Julian, thank you for that weather.

Let's talk important weather information. Right now. We're over here in the weather center with meteorologist Julian C Wright. And it is a wet day for just about everybody across the island. Absolutely. So it's been a good day if you just wanted to stay indoors and I had to go outside because it has been flat out just wet and gloomy for us and it's gonna be wet at least for the east end until we get into the later parts of this evening. But as of right now, we are looking for that rain to be clearing out for much of Nassau County. So counting still gonna be dealing with it for the next couple of hours. But as we move into what we can expect for the rest of this evening, heading into tonight, just notes, it's not just the rain, it's gonna be a bit of an issue, but visibility as well as fog is gonna be really popping up for us throughout much of the island, not just for now, but later into the night and over into Monday morning as well. So be prepared for some lowered visibility behind the rain that is going to be clearing out for us. But the the news is our skies will clear up heading into our Monday morning. So we are looking for a sunny start, but temperatures themselves are also gonna be on the mild end. We're looking back to the lower fifties and not expecting much more in regards to rain being uh any kind of accumulation as we get into the rest of tonight. Now take a look at our overlook our overnight outlook. We are seeing temperatures into the lower forties, mid forties throughout much of the island. Heading into Monday. Low fifties is what we're expected for. Our daytime, high clouds will build late. And then for Tuesday, Wednesday, we're gonna be cooling right back down as forties will return, bringing a chill to our week, but then we're gonna rebound to the fifties next weekend. So that's one thing to be mindful of is that it's not gonna be chilly for too long. But again, heading into tomorrow, we are gonna be looking at the cloud cover to build into our Monday afternoon. Quick look at our 10 day forecast, chilly weather will be heading in for us, especially for Hanukkah.

Now gonna head to weather Hilda. I know it was Misty this morning. So is that like what today is gonna be like all day? Yes and not all day, I would say for the large portion of the day, especially the day part, you know, I see a lot of the showers slowly gradually exiting right around three and four o'clock. So, you know, we're gonna deal with all this wet weather in the beginning of the day. So if you do have any outdoor plans, just make sure that you grab that trusted umbrella. Uh the ways be super active, but it could be gusty at times and we're noticing the fifties. So, Newark 5152 Clifton, 50 degrees New Brunswick 51. So it's definitely gonna be that kind of like that moody, almost like Adele vibes type of day, that cozy weather that you wanna stay inside for um a light to moderate rain into this afternoon could be expected. Now, tomorrow and Wednesday throughout Wednesday, um we are expecting things to cool down a bit and we are trending dry and there is the potential here potential. Um As we continue to watch a wintery approach with some snow flakes into the mix. Wednesday, Thursday. That'll be interesting to see if it actually comes to fruition and to life with the colder temperatures and the moisture in place. We definitely need those two components. The moisture is definitely here. The rains are going to be, um, here heading into the afternoon time frame slowly taper down. But during that time frame too, we'll notice that the heaviest rain also falls between 10 and three o'clock this afternoon by three and four, we'll notice the showers exiting. We're left with just the cloudier feel and the gray skies to contend with eventually and gradual clearing into the overnight. It's pretty widespread system but there are light showers. Um, all in all some heavier rain pockets could be expected. Um, later this morning, go right around Atlantic City. It points south of Belmar as well. Nine o'clock. It kind of just stays kind of just focused more in that southern region. But of course, notice what happens as we head into 12 o'clock, we kind of almost get clipped northwestern portions of the state for the heaviest rain. And by one o'clock, we look really good, some very light showers heading into three and four. But uh overall a nice picture here with the showers exiting a little bit sooner than anticipated. So it's not, um, truly, um, going to be long lasting at all, gradual clearing when it comes to those clouds as we say good morning to Monday and drier feels all in all. So we're not expecting these showers to truly impact by all means, but by any means, rather your Monday, by Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, we notice the temperature is slowly falling back down, making it feel much more December like.

I would say good morning to you all. But in fact that's the worst morning ever. Mm hmm. I can't believe I'm standing in front of thousands of people in the cathedral. We plan to visit later this year. Good All of this seems so unreal. Like I'm having one of those nightmares that you never thought your dad friday morning we were together eating breakfast and drinking some Starbucks eating was probably our favorite hobby. Maybe that's why we're getting those extra pounds friday morning began just like every other morning before work. You were always my big spoon watching netflix. Youtube law enforcement shorts. Read me your emails and wait for your mom to come home. You packed your book bag because we had to leave before too. And really before too sharp because of your I. C. O. Sergeant. You would drive me home and say goodbye with three kisses all the time And texted me when you were 84. That was our routine At around 1500 15, 15. I received the brb roll call text and through our day you told me about your jobs until it was bot this friday was different. We had an argument. You know, it's hard being a cop life sometimes it's hard being patient when plans were canceled or we would go days without seeing each other or when you had to write a report that would take forever because you had to voucher so many things. So you did. Ot or when you had a bad day at work because an E. D. P. Drove you nuts. But you always reminded me that it was going to be all right. We were going to get through it this friday we were arguing because I didn't want you to use your job phone while we were together. You were so mad that you took the Lebron Jersey down. Mhm. Give me your chain and put the lotions I gave you for your ashy hands in the bag and said, here take them. We left your apartment. And because I didn't want to continue to argue, I ordered an Uber. You asked me if you are sure that you don't want me to take you home. It might be the last ride I give you okay. I said no and that was probably the biggest mistake I ever made. Later that day I received the call. I wish none of you that are sitting here with me will ever receive. I had gotten a notification from the citizen app which was my central and I saw that two police officers were shot in Harlem, my heart dropped. I immediately texted you and asked you, are you okay? Please tell me you're okay. I know that you're mad right now. But just text me your okay. At least tell me you're busy. I get no response. We used to share locations on find my iphone and when I check yours, I see that you're a hard um hospital. I thought maybe you were sitting on a perp but still nothing I called and then called again and then call one more time And this time I felt something wasn't right. A message polka, David and joe Because I knew they were your friends from the 32. And I get no response. Then I get a call asking if I'm Jason's wife. And then I had to rush to the hospital walking up those steps. Seeing everybody staring at me was the scariest moment I've experienced. Nobody was telling me anything. Thousands of people were surrounding me. And yet I fell alone. I couldn't believe you left me. Mhm. Thank you. Seeing you in a hospital bed, wrapped up in sheets. Not hearing you. When I was talking to you broke me. I asked why? I said to you. Wake up, baby, I'm here. Mhm. The little bit of hope I had that you will come back to life just to say goodbye or say I love you One more time left. I was lost. I'm still lost today. I'm still in this nightmare that I wish I never had. Full of regime and anger, hurt and sad torn. Although I gained thousands of blue brothers and sisters and the loneliest without you. Mhm. I know you're looking at me and beside me telling me I could do this and I'm trying trust me. I am. But I didn't prepare for this. None of the words did, Jason. And I am at an elementary school. I miss that All the way up to 8th grade. We had the time of our lives. He was part of the cool kids crew. There was never a dull moment with him around. He was the class clown got me in trouble a couple of times. How are teachers Sit us away from each other because we couldn't focus and we never thought that are innocent childhood love would lead us to marriage. Even when we said I do, we couldn't believe we said it October nine was the happiest day of our lives. I know I drove you crazy saying I love you so many times that you will stop replying. I love you more. But you made me feel alive. You make me feel alive and Jason is so happy right now that all of you are here through pain and sorrow. This is exactly how he would have wanted to be remembered like a true hero or like I used to call him big P. O. Rivera. You have the whole nation on gridlock and although you won't be here anymore. I want you to live through me. The system continues to fail us. We are not safe anymore. Not even the members of the service. I know you were tired of these laws, especially the ones from the new D. A. I hope he's watching you speak through me right now. Mhm mm hmm. Mhm. Mhm Thank you. Mhm. I'm sure all of our blue family is tired too. But I promise we promise that your death won't be in vain. I love you till the end of time. We'll take the watch from here.
