A person wanted on a federal warrant was arrested Monday morning in the town of Woodbury during an incident partially caught on cellphone video.
The FBI confirm the activity on Route 32, near the Central Valley Elementary School, to News 12 but have not revealed any details.
A law enforcement source says the person was wanted for a crime in Pennsylvania and is not from the area.
Video of the incident appears to show a distraction device, known as a flash bang, being used while law enforcement in bulletproof vests have firearms drawn. A person is seen exiting the passenger’s side door with their hands up and lying on the ground as authorities approach.
News 12 has requested additional information from the FBI but has yet to receive a response.
