Officials have identified the victim of a fatal shooting that took place last night outside a deli in Hunts Point.
As News 12 previously reported, the shooting occurred at around 6:30 p.m. in front of a 24-hour deli at the corner of Longwood Avenue and Beck Street.
Police say 29-year-old Anthony Martinez was found lying on the sidewalk with gunshot wounds to the face and chest. First responders pronounced Martinez dead at the scene.
Authorities say they have made no arrests in the case so far.
