Veterans in Nyack came together today to honor local residents who died fighting for our freedom.
Men and women who served in the armed forces marched in honor of their fallen comrades.
The parade was organized by the Nyack American Legion.
Organizers believe the parade began sometime after World War II, but stopped in the late 80s. In 2001, the Nyack American Legion decided it was time to bring it back.
