Ceremonies across Hudson Valley are honoring veterans this weekend.

Residents lined the streets in West Harrison for its Veteran's Day Parade on Under Hill Avenue.

Servicemen and women of all wars were honored and remembered at the event.

Organizers say an important part of the ceremony was focused on striving towards unity in America.

Some of the honored guests who spoke at the ceremony included an army general and a Marine Corps lieutenant, both from Hudson valley
