    Pentagon officials are reporting that five U.S. troops in Iraq have been killed by a fellow soldier.
    The shooting happened at Camp Liberty, a U.S. base on the western edge of Baghdad. Most of the troops based at Camp Liberty are American, but troops from other countries also operate out of the base.
    A brief U.S. statement said the soldier "suspected of being involved with the shooting" was in custody, but gave no further details. It was unclear what provoked the alleged attack.
