There's a new opportunity for people looking to find a job that helps others while also learning how to use a lifesaving tool.
The career fair will be held Saturday in White Plains through the nonprofit National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence (NCADD) of Westchester County.
It includes job opportunities for people wanting a career as an alcohol and substance abuse counselor. The organization also provides training for people who want to help those suffering from addiction.
On top of the networking opportunities, there will also be Narcan training, the opioid reversal drug that is used during overdose emergencies.
The event includes mental health services along with activities for the whole family.
It runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 250 Bryant Ave. in White Plains.
