The Undiscovered Realm Comic Con returned to the Westchester County Center in White Plains this weekend after a pandemic related hiatus.
The event includes celebrity guests, cosplay contests, various panels, autographs and numerous comic books.
Kids ages 6 through 12 get in for only $10, while anyone under 5 gets in free.
Event promoter Chris Wilcock says comic book collectors and fans bring a financial boost to the local economy.
"It's hundreds and hundreds of thousands of dollars. We have people flying in from as far as Scotland, West Coast, especially for the [Teenage Mutant] Ninja Turtles' reunion that we're having, they're very excited. So they're coming from all over. They're going out, they're going to bars, they're going to the restaurants, everybody's getting hotel rooms," he said.
The event continues Sunday from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
