Authorities now say a "sexting" scandal could involve more than one high school in Orange County.
Montgomery police say their school resource officer at Valley Central High School was notified by administrators more than a week ago that some students had partially nude and completely nude photos of other students in their phones. Since some of the underage students pictured in those sexually explicit texts were not identified, officials say it may be that some of the underage teens could go to other schools.
Officials say the matter is being handled administratively and that parents were notified. Students who spoke to News 12 on Tuesday said as many as 45 freshman and sophomores were involved in what was a group chat and that they've all been suspended.
So far, police say no charges will be filed because the students were unaware of the potential consequences of their actions.
