Tragedy struck early this morning as one person lost their life after being struck by a train in Orange County.

The incident took place around 3 a.m. just east of the Tuxedo train station, according to MTA officials.

They say the individual was not authorized to be on the tracks at the time.

Authorities have stated that no criminality is suspected in this incident.
