Ulster man indicted for murder released on day of trial due to errors by DA's office

An Ulster man was ordered to be "released immediately" the day his trial was slated to begin.
Raymond Synder had been indicted for murder by a grand jury in the shooting of Romero Underwood in his home last July.
Blood droplets found at the scene matched Snyder after DNA testing was completed.
He was also charged with burglary and robbery.
Ulster County Court Judge Bryan Rounds dismissed all of the charges due to multiple errors by the District Attorney's Office.
Ulster County DA David Clegg and his assistants failed to appear in court for the trial.
