Police say an Ulster County man is facing several charges, including felony assault, for slashing and threatening someone with a knife.
Jona Knox was involved in a fight at Love Bites Cafe Sunday in the Village of Saugerties, according to authorities.
They say the 40-year-old was arguing with the female manager over money he believed he was owed for work.
She told Knox he would have to come back later - and that's when police say he spit on her, pulled her hair and punched her in the face.
A co-worker tried to intervene, but Knox allegedly slashed him with a knife.
Paramedics treated both victims for their injuries.
Knox ran off and was eventually arrested by police.
He was arraigned in court and is now being held at Ulster County Jail without bail.
