Police busted two suspected underage drinkers late Friday, one day after cops found 12 Tarrytown teens allegedly throwing a drinking party.
In Friday's incident, investigators said they found two youths intoxicated at Scout Field in Scarsdale. However, a witness said the two 14-year-olds, one boy and one girl, were not only at the soccer field drunk, but also half naked. The pair was treated at White Plains Hospital. Police did not release whether summonses were issued.
Police said they broke up a party on Park Avenue in Tarrytown Thursday night. Officers issued summonses to 12 teens, all 16 to 18 years old. The accused are due back in court Wednesday.
Dr. Erik Larsen, associate director of emergency medicine at White Plains Hospital, said, "There's rarely a weekend shift that doesn't go by when I don't or the ER staff does not see a young person come in with alcohol poisoning."
