Two Rockland County men were indicted on kidnapping charges for holding a man against his will for hours in a Garnerville motel room.
County District Attorney Tom Wash announced on Wednesday that a grand jury indicted 30-year-old Jonathan Abikzer, of Monsey, and 46-year-old Michael Galkovich, of New City.
Town of Haverstraw police say the two men asked another man to come to a motel earlier this month to give an estimate for renovating rooms. The men are accused of holding the victim at gunpoint and forcing him to transfer money to them.
The victim was not hurt.
Abikzer and Galkovich face several kidnapping and robbery charges.
