A White Plains resident Turned To Tara as damage from a series of nor’easters in March continues to plague her.

A massive tree fell on the roof of Annette Boy’s home on Primrose Street during the storms.

Boyd says she can’t sleep at night because she hears animals.

“They are fighting, screaming…that's why I called News 12,” she says.

She called her landlord dozens of times but was told the responsibility for cleanup lies with the owner of the property next door, where the tree fell from. That man told News 12 that it was not his responsibility.

Turn To Tara contacted White Plains City Hall, which sent out the Building Department within 24 hours.

A violation was issued to Boyd’s landlord, Lisa Roberson. Roberson was ordered to cut down the tree by the end of the month or face fines of up to $1,000 a day.
