A special turkey drive was held in Westchester County’s largest city.
To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Virgin Mary Orthodox Church, Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano participated in the drive.
The church raises funds through its members and feeds 100 families in Yonkers. The packages that went to each family were carefully put together by members of the church.
Spano also gave a proclamation to the church for making the lives of Yonkers residents a lot brighter on Thanksgiving.
