The southbound lanes on the Taconic State Parkway were closed Friday due to a truck being hit by a fallen tree.

The Mahopac Falls Volunteer Firefighters say they were called to the scene around 10:30 a.m.

Crews worked to remove the driver and then took him to Westchester Medical Center for further evaluation.
