A tractor-trailer carrying 20,000 pounds of greeting cards slammed into a Hutchinson River Parkway overpass overnight.
Police say the accident happened in Rye Brook around 2 a.m. today.
Part of the tractor-trailer's roof was ripped off, and thousands of cards littered the roadway.
The driver of the truck, who was not injured, told News 12 he thought the warning lights over the limit for trucks meant slow down. No other vehicles were damaged.
Crews were able to clear the accident and rush hour traffic was not severely impacted
Westchester County police say the truck driver is being ticketed.
